Bethlehem Preschool and Daycare Teacher Introductions

 

Miss Pong

 

 

Miss Pong (Director) graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development. She has been working in the early childhood field since 1994. Miss Pong has been employed at Bethlehem since September of 1996. She lives in St. Charles with her husband, Tom, and 2 children, Ally and Lexy, who attend Munhall Elementary School. Miss Pong enjoys reading, drawing, traveling, skiing and playing volleyball and badminton.

 

Donna Anderson

 

Miss Donna (Teacher) has been working in the early childhood field since 1999. Miss Donna has been employed at Bethlehem since August of 2003. She lives in Elgin with her husband, Steve. She has a son, Eric, and a daughter, Melissa. She also has two grandchildren, Lillian and Allison. Miss Donna enjoys shopping for antiques, gardening, decorating, and spending time with her family.


Anne Arends

 

 

 

Miss Anne (Teacher) graduated from Iowa State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Physical Education. She has been working in the early childhood field since 2001. Miss Anne has been employed at Bethlehem Preschool since August of 2002. She lives in St. Charles with her husband, John, two children, Allie and Dave, one cat and three dogs. She has another daughter, Kate, living in Minnesota. Miss Anne enjoys singing, gardening, hiking and reading.


Laura Aylesworth

 

 

Miss Laura (Teacher) graduated from Western Illinois University with a degree in Child Development/Home Economics. She has been working in the early childhood field since 1980. Miss Laura has been employed at Bethlehem Preschool since August of 2006. She lives in Batavia with her husband, Al, and two children, Ashley and Brianna. Miss Laura enjoys gardening and crafts.

Terry Lagioia

 

 

 

 

Miss Terry (Teacher) graduated from the College of DuPage with an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been working in the early childhood field since 1984. Miss Terry has been employed at Bethlehem Preschool since May of 1999. She lives in Carol Stream with her husband Pete, and has one son, Vito. Miss Terry enjoys gardening, needlepoint, reading and bicycling.


Magda Radzki


 

 

Miss Magda (Teacher) graduated from the College of Dupage with an Associates Degree in Applied Science Child Care and Development. She has been working in the early childhood field since 1994. Miss Magda has been employed at Bethlehem Preschool since September of 2002. She lives in St. Charles with her husband, Kris, and two german shepherds. Miss Magda enjoys dancing, listening to music, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

 

 

 

 

Melissa (Teacher) graduated from St. Charles High School and has a cosmetology license. She has been in the early childhood field since 2008 and earned her Child Development Associate Credential in 2010. Melissa lives in St. Charles with her husband, Jim, and three children, Cody (BPC alumni), Anna, and Jared. She enjoys boating, biking, and watching movies with her family.

 

Kay Sayarath

 

 

 

Miss Kay (Teacher) has been working in the early childhood field since 2002 and has taken courses at Waubonsee Community College. Miss Kay has been employed at Bethlehem Preschool since February of 2006. She lives in St. Charles with her husband, Tang, and her daughter, Melody.  Miss Kay enjoys listening to music, singing and playing sports.

 

Jenny Schneider

 

 

 

Miss Jenny (Assistant Teacher) graduated from East High School and has been working in the early childhood field since 2002. She lives in St. Charles with her husband, Mark, and three children, Bobby, Jake, and Gabby. They have a dog name Maggie. She has been employed at Bethlehem since 2010. Jenny enjoys reading, spending time with family, walking her dog and listening to music.


 

Shannon Bell

 


Miss Shannon (Assistant Teacher) graduated from University of Illinois with a B.S. in Leisure Studies Program Management with a Minor in English, and Benedictine University with a M.S. in Management and Organizational Behavior. She has been in the early childhood field since 2010. She lives in St. Charles with her husband, Walker, and two children, Logan and Maggie. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing soccer, scrapbooking, and hiking/biking.

 

Lorie Bloomquist

 

 

Miss Lorie (Assistant Teacher) graduated from Valley Lutheran High School and took online courses at Concordia University. She has been working in the early childhood field since 2000. Lorie has been employed at Bethlehem since Ausut of 2011. Lorie lives in South Elgin and has one daughter. She enjoys art, crafting, sewing, walking, sports and going to the movies.
